BIOGRAPHY

The German dancer Katharina Ludwig trained as a contemporary dancer and dance teacher at the Iwanson School of Contemporary Dance in Munich and is currently completing her Master of Movement Research at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz. The Bern-based dancer currently works as a freelancer in Switzerland and internationally. In recent years, she has choreographed several of her own short pieces, which have been shown internationally. Her professional work includes engagements with Joshua Monten, Wim Vandekeybus at the International Theatre Amsterdam, Simone Elliot, Emese Nagy, Sade Mamedova, SHIBUI Kollektiv, Nunzio Impellizeri and DAGADA Dance Company, among others. She also has several years of teaching experience for a variety of classes for educations and professionals.
